The Women’s List is a non-profit organization created by a volunteer group of WGA writers, DGA directors, and SAG actors, among others. Our goal is to become the go-to resource for unrecognized talent and the filmmakers searching for their stories.”

Visionary Fellowship | 2025

“The Visionary Fellowship is a year-long program that invests in disabled filmmakers with the funding, mentorship and community they need to make a short film and leverage it into their first feature film. The program is uniquely designed to cover the transition between making a short and preparing and packaging a debut feature, ensuring they have ample support to connect the dots between the two.”

“The MPI Short Film Lab is a comprehensive program that provides filmmakers with hands-on training and mentoring to take their initial film concepts through the process of developing an outstanding short film script for production.”

Artist Disruptors TV Writing Fellowship | 2024

“The Disruptors Fellowship is an unprecedented fellowship supporting emerging television writers of color who identify as transgender, non-binary, disabled, or undocumented/formerly undocumented. During this 3-month program, fellows are provided with mentorship, professional development, master classes and an opportunity to build community with other writers of color, both emergent and leaders in their field.”

Hedgebrook Writer-in-Residence | 2024

“Hedgebrook’s Writer-in-Residence Program supports women-identified writers from all over the world for residencies of two or three weeks. Up to 6 writers can be in residence at a time, each housed in their own handcrafted cottage. Days are spent in solitude – writing, reading, taking walks in the woods on the property or on nearby Double Bluff beach.”

Disability Belongs Entertainment Lab, TV Drama Writing Intensive | 2024

“After an extensive search and interview process, 5 individuals were invited to participate in an intensive session for disabled drama writers. This intensive elevates disabled creatives, focusing on building community, networking, and career advancement. This intensive is in collaboration with ABC Entertainment.”

Story Incubator Screenwriting Fellowship | 2024

“The Story Incubator Writing Lab is a mission-driven creative development agency operating in the nonprofit space. The Lab gathers exceptional screenwriters who are at a critical career tipping point. Each participant is a skilled and experienced working writer/director and each is poised to break out. Each simply needs to craft that one story that hits audiences in the right way at the right time. The Story Incubator Writing Lab is thus framed around two interlocking goals: It aims to be a career-maker and also to be a catalyst for getting exceptional, necessary stories out into the world.”

Accelerate Fellowship | 2023

“The Accelerate Fellowship is a six-month rewriting sprint that gives disabled film and television writers funding and bespoke mentorship to develop a spec script to market. Through writers groups, one-on-one mentorship, guidance from the Inevitable Foundation staff, and access to leading film and television writers, the program offers disabled writers everything they need to get their script ready to take to market. This year’s program will also encourage nuanced disability representation in the projects themselves.”

JHRTS Feature Drama Winner | 2022

“The JHRTS Script Competition was started in 2020 by the JHRTS Los Angeles board which was looking for a way to place the spotlight on its talented members with screenwriting abilities. The annual competition seeks outstanding scripts from JHRTS members. The judging committee is comprised of previous and current members of the Los Angeles and New York JHRTS Executive Boards, who work at leading entertainment companies.”
